To start your first project with Purple DS you need an account for the Purple DS Manager.
The account is free to use. You can build as many test apps as you like and install them on your mobile device. You want to pay for your app in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.
- Register at
www.purplemanager.com (Step 1.1 and 1.2)
- Click "OK" to go to the login window (Step 2)
- Activate your account by clicking on the link in the email sent to your registered account email address (Step 3)
- After you've activated your account, log in to Purple DS Manager (Step 4)
After activating your account you can log onto both Purple DS Manager and Composer.
The first thing to do is create your first app using the App Wizard in Purple DS Manager.
Once your app has been built, in the Download section you will find the Purple DS Starter Kit. It contains the up-to-date version of Purple DS Composer, Adobe® plug-in for InDesign®, and Quick Start Guides! You can start your first project instantly.
With Purple DS Composer you can create and enhance your content and upload it directly to your app .
In Purple DS Manager you can change app properties and rebuild your app.
